POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Genetics department is seeking a Research Technician B to assist with research projects in the Greally lab. The research projects are all related to Epigenetics. The Technician will work in molecular genetics and epigenetics fields.
Duties will include:

Cell culture
-
PCR/quantitative PCR
-
DNA/RNA extraction
-
Preparing tubes/tips
Bacteria culture (cloning) -
DNA modifying enzyme treatment

Making medium/buffer
-
Ordering supplies utilizing a web-based order request system
Job Requirements
BA or BS with a major in Biology, Biochemistry or other science-related area required
- Training in fields related to molecular genetics or epigenetics required
- Must be familiar with basic procedures involved in handling chemicals and standard lab equipment
