POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Hébert Lab lab studies how the forebrain develops and how it can be regenerated. Several molecular genetic approaches are used in mouse model systems. A full-time technician position is available in this lab for individuals looking to gain research experience. As well as having their own research project, the technician will be responsible for certain aspects of general lab upkeep.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- B.A./B.S.in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or other science-related area required
- Previous experience with animal handling and basic microbiology techniques preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
