My client is looking for an Audiologist (AuD) to work in Groton, Conneticut with 5+ years of relevant post-doctorate level experience supporting industry or military/space related operational and performance medical research. This is the research on the man-machine-environment interfaces, focusing on maintaining or protecting human health while optimizing performance in both normal and stressed (military/mission) operational settings. Audiology in occupational medical research for industry, Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine and related experiences are especially preferred.

-Various operational/performance studies in military/mission settings related to audiology research.
-Audiology sensory studies in maritime/submariner or space operational situations
-Experience in undersea sound/hearing effects
-Test, Evaluation, Optimization of Auditory Inputs/Interfaces
-The audiological aspects of human performance testing: Under environmental and operational challenges (heat, cold, humidity, aridity, altitude, diving depth, darkness, weight load/distribution, attention, sleep deprivation, etc.)
