My client seeks a doctorate level engineer with 12+ years of relevant post-doctorate level experience supporting military/space related operational and performance medical research. This candidate sits at the juncture of evaluating military/space personal equipment and gear designs with human usability, protection, health, and performance optimization goals. This is the research on the man-machine-environment interfaces, focusing on maintaining or protecting human health while optimizing performance in both normal and stressed (military/mission) operational settings. Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine and related experiences are especially preferred.
