POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Research Technician B for the Cancer Centerof the Einstein College of Medicine. The Technician will be responsible for the following: Cell culture, DNA, RNA isolation from tissues and cells, basic biochemical, molecular and cell biological analyses: Western, qRT-PCR, and sample preparation for methylation detection and microarray, pharmacological research: basic toxicity test, antitumor studies in animals; writing experimental records correctly and reporting experimental results to PI in writing; ordering lab supplies and organizing the lab.
Job Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. in any field of science, engineering or related discipline or equivalent skills and experience required
- One year of lab research experience in molecular, cell biology or molecular pharmacology preferred
- Ability to work with animals preferred
