The research will be focused in the field of process management with the emphasis on ICT support of business and social processes, identification, dissemination and optimal distribution of knowledge within organizations, decision-making processes and computerising the relationship between ICT and processes in relation of the organizations to these changes.
The research fellow will have to demonstrate the ability to lead the investigation through theoretical and practical applications in order to find answers to questions: What do organizations collectively know? How is the transfer of collective knowledge to business processes and e-processes conducted? What, if any, and how do companies learn from their customers? How successful is the process of transferring this knowledge to the company’s knowledge base? Do organizations fully comprehend the strengths that are stored in loyal customers? Do they know how to obtain these benefits from such customers, analyse and evaluate them, and consequently incorporate them into the business processes in order to improve the functioning of the organization as a whole?...
Conditions:We expect that the candidate (he/she):
- was an outstanding Computer science, Information science, IT management student (or similar),
- has a very strong wish and ambitions for work in academic career,
- will do the research work at the Process Management Institut of Faculty of information studies in Novo mesto and will do Ph. D. at the appropriate University in Slovenia or abroad.
