The role will involve design, testing, validation and prototyping of novel energy storage systems. The applicant should be proficient in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and energy system analysis. The candidate should have a proven track record of practical applications of thermal energy storage systems. Good operating knowledge of AutoCad, Solid Works and related software packages is desirable. Design of prototype tooling is also desirable.
The Role:
This is an 8 month fixed term post as a Post-Doc Researcher in the School of Electrical Engineering Systems, DIT, Kevin St, Dublin 8, which will run from date of employment until the end of the fixed term or on an earlier date if the funding for this post comes to an end.
The provisions of the Dublin Institute of Technology Act, 1992 to 2006 and any subsequent Acts replacing or amending these Acts and any orders and regulations made under these Acts will apply.
