The data systems manager will be responsible for independently creating and maintaining several large complex data bases containing research participant data collected at multiple study visits. He/she will be proficient in using Microsoft Access and SAS to design database systems, organize and manipulate the data, generate statistical reports, resolve problems with data quality, import and export data, and merge datasets. He/she will be part of multiple large research collaborations that require significant interactions at various levels within and outside of the University. The incumbent will have at least a bachelor’s degree, and five years’ experience with data management, preferably in a University medical research setting. Statistical analysis experience required. Excellent organizational and written and oral communication skills essential. Minimum Education Requirement: Baccalaureate.
