The Center for Analytical Approaches to Social Innovation (CAASI) is hiring an experienced Administrator. The incumbent will work directly with CAASI Director Dr. Sera Linardi and other key partners within and outside the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs to support overall communications, project management, student management, and operations for the Center. The Administrator will serve as the main point of contact for Center communications and operations and will manage project teams and student affiliates. Incumbent will be tasked with organizing and communicating priorities to help set deliverables for various projects and teams. Administrator will work to drive efficiencies for CAASI’s current project management (Notion, Slack) and financial tools (Google) with an eye towards improving CAASI’s current central dashboard of activities and financial records. The Administrator will also review and implement improvements for CAASI core documents (onboarding documents, policies and procedures, processes of obtaining feedback and testimonials) and project managers’ data management and community/institutional relationships.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience working in an administrative capacity; higher education or research experience preferred but not required. Knowledge and interest in CAASI’s research work is highly preferable. This position is 100% funded by soft-funding.

Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of prior administrative experience required. Significant relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Prior higher education, nonprofit, or research experience, preferred. A strong commitment to the mission and work of CAASI is highly preferred.

Department Details About CAASI We find innovative solutions to solve community challenges through designing and implementing solutions in the data science realm. Our projects come from local community organizations, who brainstorm data sources and potential solutions with us before any research teams are formed. We focus on providing practical, rapid prototypes for feedback.
