Clinical and Translational Science Institute – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (22004412)

The University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute is seeking an Education Research Facilitator. The Education Research Facilitator (ERF) is a key position of the Translational Workforce Development Core of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). Working with the Director of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) -Training the ERF will develop, organize and conduct educational programs for researchers, trainees, research staff, and students.

Responsibilities include maintaining current knowledge of CTSI, University of Pittsburgh, and UPMC research resources pertinent to the ethical conduct of human subject and basic biomedical research. The ERF will assist in project management for projects that are funded by the CTSI. The ERF will develop and maintain collaborations with members of the research community to assist with resources for the preparation, submission and conduct of research through education and training programs.

Must be able to work with diverse group of people.

The Translational Workforce Development Core enhances professional growth as well as growth, efficiency, and speed of clinical and translational research by providing essential educational programs.

Master’s degree preferred; exceptions to the college degree requirement can be made if length and relevance of prior experience as well as established track record indicate candidate’s overall capability and specific suitability for the position. Health related research and clinical research experience preferred.RN preferred | RN preferred.
