Job Description

Med-Surgery – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (22008207) Assist with the supervision of day to day research lab operations including performing research studies using molecular biology, immunology, and histology procedures, experiment coordination, data collection and analysis; perform complex survival and terminal surgical procedures in rabbit and ferret models of trauma; maintain breeding colonies; maintain and organize all regulatory documentation of chemical and controlled substances, work with various regulatory offices (EHS inspection, IACUC inspections) to ensure lab compliance and safety; assist with management of several funded multi-center studies and provide oversight of purchasing laboratory supplies and maintenance of inventories.

Experience with performing rabbit procedures. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted per University guidelines.
