This Systems Analyst position serves the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid as a financial aid systems analyst supporting financial aid related systems. Examples of systems supported include, but are not limited to: PeopleSoft Student System Financial Aid Module, Document Imaging, Scholarship System, PHEAA Program, Great Lakes Educational Loan Services, Campus Logic suite of software, and state, federal, and private agencies. This is a mid-level systems analyst position responsible for supporting, enhancing, and implementing student financial aid related systems. The position will regularly utilize student financial aid functional knowledge, technical expertise, and business analysis skills. The main responsibilities of this position include assisting with financial aid systems setup, maintenance, enhancement, oversight of specific duties as assigned, project management, financial aid data retrieval (query) and analysis, and working collaboratively with colleagues on the financial aid systems team and functional financial aid staff. The position will assist in the implementation, development, and improvement of business processes, operational metrics, and performance. The position, with its primary function of serving the financial aid office, will directly report to a member of the senior financial aid leadership team and serve as back-up to other financial aid systems areas as needed.

5 years of relevant experience required, preferably prior experience in a University setting. Preference given to candidates with functional financial aid knowledge and experience in addition to strong technical and/or systems background. Bachelor’s degree required; a Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science preferred. Must possess demonstrated skills in planning, project management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adjust to changing business needs on short notice. Demonstrated experience showing flexibility and willingness to take on new duties and responsibilities as-needed.
