The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator who will serve as a research coordinator for COHRA2, a longitudinal oral health study of pregnant women and their children (newborn to age 2), which is being conducted at the Center for Craniofacial and Dental Genetics in the School of Dental Medicine.
Responsibilities of the incumbent will include the coordination of all aspects of the study at the Pittsburgh site, such as recruiting and scheduling participants, conducting protocol assessments, and all associated record-keeping. Protocol assessments will include personal and telephone interviews, a dental caries exam, and sample collection. Additional responsibilities include conducting dental assessments and phenotype ratings for other research projects and assisting with publications. Other job responsibilities will be as assigned.

Master’s Degree in educational, biological or related field, and work experience of at least two years in a biological sciences research setting, health care research setting, and/or dentistry. Incumbent should be completely familiar with human subject research and possess excellent communication and supervisory skills. Incumbent must be a licensed dental hygienist; a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner is preferred.
