ICT Developer/Lead Software Architect for Customised Architecture Solutions Automation (CASA) project (Fixed-Term contract for 16 months) NA/315/17
The Dublin School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a Lead ICT developer/ICT architect to lead the development of a comprehensive software solution for an EI funded commercialisation project entitled Customised Architecture Solutions Automation (CASA) over the next 16 months in the Dublin School of Architecture on a fixed term specified purpose basis. They will work to the principal investigator who has created the project and under an (external) senior software.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, individual seeking new opportunities within the ICT tech environment and value the opportunity to influence the culture of a start-up (info tech) company (which will occur in the next phase under separate subsequent recruitment process).
The ideal candidate will have high level qualifications in computer science with significant industry experience specifying and developing technical solutions in complex coding challenges, and be experienced in software creation through the Agile project development approach in commercial app or Software as a services (SaaS) sectors.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a software team lead and be familiar with Lean Start Up thinking namely build-measure-learn feedback cycles, small batch production and the Agile (ICT) project management process.
Hours of work: A 39 hour week is in operation.
