Animal Facility Manager
Job Description
The University of Pittsburgh’s Systems Neuroscience Institute department is seeking a qualified Animal Facility Manager. The Animal Facility Manager will provide human resource management for animal care staff, will function as liaison between animal care staff and PI staff, will maintain IACUC and EH&S standards, and will manage the marmoset research initiative in a research institute. Excellent management and problem-solving skills are required as well as knowledge of research animal care and University and federal requirements for animal research.

Experie nce may be substituted for degree. A combination of vet tech education/experience and management education/experience would be a plus.
