Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator
Job Description
The department of Gastroenterology is currently recruiting a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator (CRNC) to this nationally recognized research institution participating in many federally funded and industry sponsored clinical trials. The CRNC will screen and enroll subjects for protocols in the clinical settings of the division of Gastroenterology. The individual will assist the investigating physician(s)/Principal Investigator(s) (PI) with preparation of regulatory documents, planning, subject recruitment, enrollment, scheduling, and study conduct. The CRNC will train and mentor health care personnel about protocols and ensure protocol adherence under the direction of the PI. Strong communication skills are necessary. Current PA RN licensure is required, BSN or bachelor’s degree preferred. Two years of experience in coordinating clinical trials, necessary. Flexible hours (day light, some evenings, weekends) will be necessary. This position is located at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in Lawrenceville. TB test and PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment. img.img { width: 0px !important;}
BSN or bachelor’s degree preferred. Two years of experience in coordinating clinical trials necessary. Regulatory experience within the University of Pittsburgh a plus.
