With us, you will work broadly within medical oncology, focusing on breast cancer, melanoma, gastrointestinal cancer, and urological cancer. The department is divided into an outpatient section and a treatment section, giving you a varied working day. Your day may include outpatient visits with approximately 3-4 patients per half-day (new visits, follow-up visits, or toxicity checks), chemotherapy prescriptions, and supervision of junior doctors/residents. We collaborate with a neighbouring region for radiation therapy, allowing you to focus on medical oncology.
We are looking for someone who has: – Specialist competence in medical oncology or clinical oncology – At least 5 years of experience in medical or clinical oncology – Experience in one or more of our diagnostic areas (breast cancer, melanoma, gastrointestinal cancer, urological cancer)
