About the role: You will join a rheumatology department that includes a well-functioning outpatient clinic, day care services, an osteoporosis clinic and a team of skilled professionals. The hospital places strong emphasis on quality of care, multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous improvement.
There are opportunities to contribute to clinical research and academic development in cooperation with the hospital’s research department. The working hours are mainly during the day, with occasional shifts extending to 8 p.m.
Responsibilities: Outpatient assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with rheumatological conditions Follow-up of chronic patients and new referrals Collaboration with other specialists and health professionals Participation in internal training and development sessions Contribution to ongoing quality and improvement initiatives Participation in the department’s duty schedule
Requirements: Authorisation to practice as a medical doctor within the EU. EU certification as a rheumatologist Strong English communication skills Willingness to learn Norwegian (we offer free language training) Motivation to relocate and contribute to the Norwegian public healthcare system Experience with outpatient care and teamwork in a hospital setting
