The Regional Team Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of the provision of services designed to improve outcomes for agencies, children, youth, and families in the child welfare system.
Participates as a member of the Leadership Team, actively engaging in quality improvement efforts through Defining, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation designed to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Resource Center.
The Regional Team Supervisor will provide direct supervision to Practice Improvement Specialists and Resource Specialists. In addition, the Regional Team Supervisor provides supportive supervision to the integration of Youth and Family Engagement throughout the program.
The Regional Team Supervisor will establish relationships and collaborate with Regional Office of Children, Youth, and Families (OCYF), Children and Youth Agencies, and Community Stakeholders.
The Regional Team Supervisor should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively with upper-level management, experienced in leading project teams, self-motivated when working on a project by oneself, and able to demonstrate initiative.
The Regional Team Supervisor functions as a team member of the Organizational Effectiveness Department for the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (Resource Center).
Completion of BSW and/or degree in related human services field required. Master’s degree in social work or closely related field is preferred.
A minimum of five years’ experience in child welfare and/or related human service field required. A minimum of two years in providing direct supervision preferred.
Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, writing, human relations, collaboration, and facilitation skills required. Must have the ability to lead and provide direction to others effectively, and organize, plan and coordinate activities. Must have knowledge of Pennsylvania child welfare practice, services, and outcomes.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the state is required.
