Trainer and Consultant Coordinator

Job Description

The Trainer and Consultant Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, development, and maintenance of trainers and consultants for the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (Resource Center). These tasks include coordinating the trainer and consultant onboarding process, writing and managing ongoing correspondence with them, tracking their participation in professional development opportunities, and observing and evaluating their delivery of the products and services. The Trainer and Consultant Coordinator also assists with the periodic revision of curriculum and functions as a team member of the Curriculum and Trainer Development Department.

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in training and development, adult education, child education, human service, or related field is required.

A minimum of three years of experience in organizational coordination, managing people, and writing is required. Child welfare experience is preferred.

Must have excellent and well-documented writing, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to adhere to strict timelines and comply with identified standards is required. Must also possess excellent interpersonal, computer, customer service, problem analyzing, and problem-solving skills. The ability to collaborate and cooperate with diverse individuals, agencies, and organizations is also required.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the state is required.
